Presidium Synthetic Diamond Screener II (SDS II) is a compact desktop device engineered to screen out lab-grown CVD and HPHT diamonds from natural diamonds. By measuring the gemstone’s deep-UV light absorption, it quickly identifies Type IIa diamonds—the category to which nearly all synthetic and lab-grown diamonds belong—allowing jewellers, pawnbrokers, and appraisers to verify stone authenticity with confidence.
